MOT Failure with no rear wiper?

Planning on removing the motor and rear wiper.

Just wanted to check that this isn't an MOT failure as the car is still used on the road.

Mine passed with no wiper or motor last year. It might depend where you go but apparently if its not there, it can't be tested.

(not sure how true that is as mine also passed with 3/4 plates)

Its not on the list of things to be checked IIRC, my dads car's rear wiper blade was ruined, but it still passed it's MOT like it.

rear wiper is not included in mot as of yet. your car will pass perfectly fine.

some cars dont come with a rear wiper out of the factory so im sure it will pass. plus if you are removing the wiper and the motor then they cant test it. Last garage i took mine to for an mot they said if its not there to test.. then they cant fail it

rear wiper is not a testable item so will pass even if it dont work or missing the blade ect the tester can only advice it if he wants too.

Like others have said, it'll pass without any problems. Mine has no rear wiper and always sails through the MOT.
