MOT in the morning

got my MOT in the morning, W reg 1.2 44000 miles, any common things i should have a look for? i think it should pass had a good look around.

just make sure simple things like wipers and bulbs are ok, anything else you know of should have been sorted by now really if anything needs replacing i mean. if it does and you didnt, mot will pick it up. good luck!

thanks, i checked all the bulbs wipers etc all ok so fingers crossed, ill know in the morning

Anything mechanical that you cant check they should pick up on.

Other than that the checks youve done are good, Just have to have your fingers crossed, And hope they dont f**k you over.

i worked at the garage im going to for 2 years so i know there straight and i had the car up on the ramp a week or so ago replacing the exhaust so i had a good look then 2

ye seen quite a few threads about that, lowered it about 6 months ago so should be no probs there hopefully shocks are ok 2

Suspension springs and shocks? They don't even check them on an MOT, they're supposed to, but nowhere seems to, only checks that most places round here do are lights, emissions, tyres, brakes, think thats it.

Last place I went for an M.O.T seemed to go over the front suspension components with a fine tooth comb. Yet they passed it with a buckled rear wheel :S (not my Cup by the way)
