MOT question

The car is booked for its first MOT next week.

However a couple of things are worrying me.

the light for the ABS is on as is the traction light. This is due to me swapping my steering wheel and still waiting for the proper Momo boss kit that will allow fitment of that sensor ring from behind the steering wheel. Im using a mountney hub at the mo.

are these lights an MOT failure? is there a way round this?

I had an mot failure on my golf couple of years bk coz the abs light wouldnt come on. The guy said it must come on then go out after a couple of seconds when you turn the ignition on. it failed just on that. lucky for mr it was just that the plug at the back of the light just worked it way loose. as for the reason its happening to yours not to shure on that soz m8

thats not good, was thinking of just unplugging the light. What will renaults view be of me replacing the airbag steering wheel? There is a ring behind this that im sure is the problem. it senses which way the wheel turns.

does anyone have the renault dialogys software that can give me a part number for that ring? it plugs into behind the wheel and has something to do with ABS or Traction.

not what i wanted, i wanted the part number of the abs/traction ring that sits behind the steering wheel
