will i fail the mot for having the renault badge at the begining of the numberplate, reason im asking is because, someone as work had the playboy bunny on their car and they failed their mot on that

anything other than country id (ie scotland flag, england flag etc) is illegal afaik

Yeah Ministry of Transport/VOSA released new guidelines a few weeks back (search for Mike @ Rentechs thread) basically clamping down on all the logos/different fonts/colours/sizes etc.

i thought they only checked if the lettering and spacing was correct for an MOT.

if I was you right now...Id just put the originals back on.. better safe than sorry! while you are there you can ask them if it would fail you!..

Indeed, you can only have a country flag, and dealer with post code needs to be shown to on the bottom.

changed to normal plates this morning - my god it was cold

least i passed the mot.
