MOT?

I have taken my rear windscreen wiper off but at the moment the motor is still sticking out of the boot.

Will it PASS the MOT still? or will i have to put the wiper back on and get a new blade?

As far as I lknow, the wiper needs to go back on. They can fail it without.

They never checked mine last week....

The rear wiper/washer is not tested on an MOT, its not even required, think about all those 1000s of saloon cars that don't even have them.

Hm. Maybe our MOT tester is just really really harsh. Put it through, at least if it fails cause of it, you should have a free retest within a week

no rear wiper is not testable in any way shape or form, he may however if he is feeling really harsh fail it for the motor arm sticking out the back (sharp edge)
