Mother 156k 1.2 8v mk2 clio

My Mother has a 1.2 8v S reg Clio with now 156,000 On the clock, The cars been all over and was used by me and my brother wen we just passed our Tests. Its not worth selling as will get nothing for it But how many miles should i exspect it to work, its Still on original Clutch and has had the head done once.

Probably a v.long time. Havent killed my engine or broke anything major yet. My car is the longest one ive had with no probs

How long is a bit of string realy.

156k though is good going and assiming its been serviced regularly and goes on long journeys ie gets hot then it could go for another 150k maybe.

Even if the engine or box etc does need changing you could get a whole new engine and box for a few hundred then say £250 to get it fitted.
