Motorbike can

motorbike cans will fit, but I've heard that you lose power due to the bore size being smaller

TVR Tuscans and maybe some others use motorbike cans i think they use Carbon Can Co. ones?0, IMO there designed for a bike not a car so why?

TVR's will use their own made carbon 'bike look' cans id guess

i believe you loose power due to back pressure problems etc as theyre not designed for a car..

i saw a really nice exhaust on a motorbike the other day n thought that it would look really smart on my car. And im bored of the usually low rumbling noise of the exhausts that are on most cars, wanted something a bit different.

Rember that the reason bike cans sound ammazing is because bikes rev really high. I dont think power is a huge issue if i rember correctly. Ben R use to have one on his clio from what i heard.

ideal, so i can do it then. would i be able just to buy 1 and then have any garage fit it or do i have to go to a speacialist place ie powerflow.

also would any motorbike exhaust work??

If you go for a bike exhaust, then buy one of the new removable baffle ones from akrapovic or arrow. They loose almost no power with the baffle in and stay road legal being 98dB or less at 5,500rpm. They are not cheap though. The older cans were much noiser and may cause you troubles with mot/cops etc
