yer the best thing to do is remove the spare wheel and have a false floor with a hole to sink the amp in. u can make a raised bit in the spare wheel wel to bring it up a bit
i got some 6mm mdf, covered it and then fixed that to the back of the rear seat. then i mounted my amp onto the mdf leaving boot space and the amp out the way.
i covered a peice of square wood in carpet and then mounted it to the side of my car where the wheels are using no nails and the mounted my amp to that. looks trick.
