Mounting Fixed buckets

  182, SQ7, Trafic
Right, finally got a fixed bucket seat ready to go in. At the minute its held in by one bolt. I'm not driving it don't worry!

What is the best way to mount properly? Am I best cutting out the bars that go across, welding in some metal all the way across and bolting to them?

Will I need to strengthen both sides when welding it to it, if so how?

Thanks :)

Seek profesional advise I would. I have just fitted some seats in but had mounts that fitted car holes just! If u can get sub frames that fit I would do this, other than that take it to a pro and get them to weld in a proper frame (depends if u planing on returning car to stock how far u go) M8 Bolts 50mm 12.9 High Tensile are the bolts u need, keep original nuts!

Na not planning on going back to stock!

Dad's a s**t hot welder so thats not a problem. Can't afford any subbys to fit and will only be me driving so don't need to move them about! Just some pics of how people have done theres would be good :) Thanks!
