Mounting oil cooler

I’m installing an oil cooler in my low pressure PAS line, due to a Cadwell almost killing my pump after a few laps.

I have seen in a few threads, mounting it to the lower side of the crash bar.

Although (I think, it’s been a while since I’ve had it apart) it’s a box section, so how is the cooler mechanically fixed?

pics of installs showing this would be perfecto

Two options really, drill right the way through and use a length of threaded bar with nuts to lock it in place abov and below the crash bar.
Or I guess you could drill the bottom face and use nutserts/rivnuts (then fixings with some print washers or some form of shake proof washer).

edit: there may be more options, depends on time/imagination/tools available. We'd all love a nicely fabricated mount that included some ducting of kinds..

Was unsure if there is spanner access on the rad side of the crash bar.

Nord loc washers should do the trick, I’ll drill through both surfaces.
Cheers
