moving gear lever

help, is it normal for the gear level to tilt forward when i put the foot to the accelerator, not when changing gear just when increasing speed. got a clio mk1.

My old RT did that. Not sure if its really meant to but never caused any problems in the 58k miles I did taking it up to 107k miles.

I think it might be your engine mounts need replacing. I have a bit of play in my engine and this feeds back to the gear stick when I press the go pedal.

cheers will take it into thye garage for a wee check up. wheel bearings need replaced as well.

gearlever moves a bit on clios,has done on both mine, normal.
