MP3-DVD Headunit

Anyone know of a headunit that plays MP3 DVD's instead of MP3 CD's?

Just started to convert all my CD's to MP3 and there are looooads!! obviously I would be able to get more on an MP3 DVD rather than an MP3 CD.

Failing that, what's peeps opinions on these...

yeah I was looking at that our just now, a little too expensive at the moment.....

I have the AVx1 and soooo happy with it... Picture quality is exceptional for the screen size, and can put multiple outputs (Video,sound etc) also, you can set it so the DVD is playing only to connected screens, while your listening to the radio... It really is class leading!

Well I don't have any extra screens as I'm not that into my ICE, just an amped up sub and some infinity's. Was thinking DVD as it stores more "files" over a normal CD, not wanting it to watch films and the like....

mp3 in the car is def the way forward.

USB/Hard-Drive in-car is the way forward.

People have been successful in connecting external hard-drives to some of the cheaper JVC USB models as well.

I went for a JVC USB with the port on the front, and then bought a 2GB Memory stick (25-30 albums worth). I can't see myself needing more music than that at any particular time.

If you do get a DVD compatible HU, then you can always rip music files as WAVs as they should sound better than mp3's (less compressed), and still have plenty of room for them on one DVD.
