after buying my alpine cd-mp3 headunit and trying out the mp3 with a few discs my mate had ive yet to use it

does any1 know where i can get mp3s off the net (for free wud be best) and tell me how you download them onto disc

Go to http://www.kazaalite.comwww.kazaalite.com and download it. You can download all sorts from there, mp3s, videos & programs

You can then download Musicmatch Jukebox Plus which plays mp3s & will burn them onto a CD

id recommend Nero for burning em! Never used musicmatch jukebox though, might give it a try.!

PS - There are loads of programs out there nowadays that allow you to rip/burn/play music but Ive always found MusicMatch Jukebox to be one of the best Ive seen. I dont collect mp3s as much now, but I do rip the odd track from cd and leave it on my pc occasionally and MusicMatch does this darn quickly.

Make sure the CD burning software is burning the MP3 files directly to the CD (creating a data CD not an audio CD probably)- NOT converting it to wav and then burning it which allows it to play in a normal CD player.

Ive used directconnect to download MP3s in the past. It displays folders so a whole album can be downloaded easily instead of just getting one track at a time (some of which might be knackered).
