MPG sloved!

So yer i took a trip down 2 my caravan where i get my car look at by one of my dads mates, Service light was on and airbag also my fuel 4 a long tym has been very rubbish like 180 AT THE MOST a tank.

He cleared the sensor fault and fixed tht for me, also order me my sensor "which tells the ECU how much fuel to use". Installed tht bad boy and

Trip from myhouse to garage is 75miles...

3 bars going down...sticking at 70mph all the way 33.3MPG

On the way home after having it changed...

1 bar 39.7MPG same speed Woooo

Only costed me £29.87 plus fuel of course but Renualt charge like £60 just 2 run it on there machine i think

Sounds like a lambda but 30 is cheap

could be coolant temp, air intake temp, lambda...

As above, more than likely coolant temp sensor.

As above with the sensors but Renault London West quoted me £95 which is one hour labour just to get it on the machine, I know Renault Blackheath are cheeper but thats almost £40 cheeper.

Sorry for the long reply...

I no a man of a man gts everything for me trade prine and i buy him a few beers...

its a sensor thats all i no... he said its the sensor which tells the ECU how much fuel to pump... any who... i was getting 22.2pg round town now im getting 28-29
