331 miles on a full tank on a 182 is about 37 mpg.

I just got 359 miles and I work my MPG out each time and that was 38.7 so I'd say your effort is about 37 ish.

Do you reset the trip and the MPG counter?

Go the the car and on the dials poking out is a little plastic stick.... Push that in. Cycle through the MPG counter, miles etc and press it on each relevant figure until they all clear to zero. Two presses on relevant counters will zero them all.

i had problemswith my mpg reading due to only driving around the city after i reset it but i reset it again and began a 4 hour trip and after that it was reading 37mpg and lowest it got down to was around 35mpg

it says i had around 380 miles worth of fuel after filling it full

I've got a 182FF (RB too :)) and it does around 34-36mpg on average with a mix of town driving, hooning and motorways :)

It's not rocket science!

Fill the car up, and zero the trip..... after a journey, fill the car up....... Divide the litres filled up (second time only) by 4.54 [this converts the fuel into Gallons] then divide the distance covered by the fuel used..... and voila!

e.g.:

350 miles covered and used 50 litres of fuel....
50/4.54=11.01
350 miles / 11.01 = 31.78mpg

I'm sorry I don't seem to follow anyone's fascination for mpg. I bought a 182 to drive it rather than go on economy runs. If you're getting over 30 mpg then you are obviously not driving it properly. Mine is stuck on 28 since I bought my car.

have done this for the last 700 miles just to see how accurate the computer is, was shocked to see that it was bang on with my calculations

Mines 20 mpg, does that mean i drive it even more/better than you?

Then again, it could be from me revving it in Macdonalds car park :rasp:

Mines constantly stuck on 22.2 mpg. Even when i reset everything it will still find its way back to 22.2 after some driving. Who cares about fuel at the end of the day :D

To get 30mpg+ out of the clio unless your on the motorway constantly then theres no chance, unless you drive like a granny and i really don't see much point in having a RS for that!

Wtf. It's so easy to see 30 mpg. Unless your constantly stuck in thick traffic then I would say there is something wrong if your always getting 22mpg.

i get around 40mpg.. just over 400miles out of my tank, thats not really pushing it.. 60's and 70's with the odd blast..

I filled up with £15 worth of BP Unleaded Supreme, about 4 miles after my low fuel warning light came on. Today, 40 miles later the fuel warning light was back on. Something seems a little off. I was gettng 30.9mpg apparently. I should have about another 60 miles left surely?
