Pleasant chap, came to our restaurant in Peterborough last night. Didn't want to bother him as he was with his mrs and friends, but had a quick chat.

Told me to stick to the 182 and not bother upgrading to 197 (not intending to anyway) as it's not as fun and no quicker. Half jokingly, his advice... stay single and keep having fun. Not sure that went down too well with his wife!

btw he's currently driving the megane 175 dci! said he's not a fan of derv but you don't notice it's a diesel

yes was just reading that. pretty sure that's the megane they arrived in. the focus was obviously quicker on straight but the meg must've really made up tim in the twisties to post such a close lap time. apparently it's quite similar to the 230 but obviously lacking the ultimate firepower and LSD niceties in handling
