ms word dde problem

Anyone know how to solve a dds connection problem between word and xls.
Im trying to do a mail merge.
Ive restarted the pc (again) and it hasnt helped:dead:

We had a problem with dde connections.

Dunno if it will solve yours, but in word, tool -> options -> general tab and tick "confirm conversions at open".

That worked for me, give it a try.
