Mud Flaps.

Ok i have genuine renault mud flaps i got with the car when i bought it.

Now, ive decided that it could *i use this with caution* be a good idea to launch on some square mudflaps. Now this could complete the low look im after, after all the car is having a full respray, wheel refurb, french plates, silver vision style bulbs not to mention my other new addition, but thats a secret for now.

So im thinking this could either look smart or look gash. Here are the options below really.

Those style, but I WILL not be putting a logo or anything on them, just standard blank look.

I have seen them done really well and really badly.
Any reasoning for me to at least try it?

Good in the winter months as i found on mine, made them for driving up the forest tracks to the car parks of the wrc gb, protected the lower sills nicely, i made my own mudflaps from the same as those in your picture(ordered black but Demon tweeks sent me blue), made some alloy brackets and bought some sparco stickers from the WRC last year, i have now removed them for summer. here are the pics of what they look like. Will make new black versions this winter. Gary

Made these from scratch, cut silicone sheet to size, made aluminium brackets with the same contour of lower sill/wing. then used u clamps to fit with no scratching or chipping of paint, used clear protection film between body and flap .

I put a set of sparco flaps on me 182 front and back to try and stop chips up the side. I like the look of them as well, who cares what other people say, if you want to do it, do it !:rasp: ill try and get a pic up soon.
