multichanger

Can anyone tell me the brand and model number of the multichanger fitted as standard to the 172 please. I want to get one and might as well keep things standard.

its a weird name but its called Kei-X made by Kenwood and model number is 1221-2

My dad works for renault so I know this is the right info m8.

Thats odd , I work 4 a renault dealer and all the ones I have seen are Alpine units!

strange, maybe Ill go down to Renault and ask. I havent even checked to see if theyve left the cable in for the unit yet. I assumed that they would, but you know what assumed did! Im also assuming the head unit is the same wether the multichanger is fitted or not. My head unit has list something or something list written on it I think.

Alpine...definately!! it says on it

Check on ebay...should pick one up quite cheap. theyre useless unless in a renault!!!

vdo are being put in clios as well, leahs 172 has a vdo cd changer installed in the boot

Its not factory fit though is it, it whould have been fitted at the dealer.

If the lead is there it should plug straight in.

If its dealer it should be under the front passenger seat and it WILL be alpine!

This was my changer in my 02 172 (under passenger seat - uk car - not there anymore).
