Missing Link Car Vee 6 Sep 12, 2009 #3 LOL....That's the scenario i was thinking about...... Not the dying bit just the damage bit... So OZ F1's would not be a good choice...??

Missing Link Car Vee 6 Sep 12, 2009 #5 Cheers fella they seem sturdy enough, I'm looking to get a spare set for track use. But having never owned a set of Multifits before it had me thinking. ( Extra holes = less strength ) There is a lot of cheap alloys out there now that do this multifit option.

dswarwick Car Ph2 172 Cup Sep 12, 2009 #6 I have OZ F1 multi-fit (non-renault) alloys for the track. Just get the correct spigot rings to ensure the wheels are centered and balanced. The chances of a (non-damaged) alloy failing before some other part of the car must be practically zero - multi-fit or not.
