Music on Ipod

I know you can transfer music from your computer to your Ipod (obviously), using ITunes. But is there a way to transfer the music from your Ipod back to your computer?

Indeed there is, it was in the FHM "100 cool thing" mini booklet that came with the august issue (i remember reading it on the plain) its a small file you put on the ipod i believe, which basically lets you open it and move or copy stuff freely off it... give it a google... or some genius on here may come to your rescue.

Yep I have anapod.

Its what I used when I lost my hard disk.

But as it says at the bottom the file names in no way relate to the songs. What application could be used to read the internal ID3 tags so that I can see what the names are on the computer?

Yeah I use that too. Pretty good when I've used it.

I've managed to do it a long winded way. But may need to use one of the above in future.
