Mw3 classes wont show!!

I bought a new ps3 yesterday (slim 160 gb) and have signed into my account no problem but when i went on mw3 online my rank was still there but my classes wernt :/

The original standard classes are available but not my custom ones.

Ive synced my trophys to the new console but still nothing, my old ps3 was a 80gb so would this have anything to do with why its not showing my classes?

A year or so ago i signed into my mates ps3 and everything was there no problem so im abit stumped. I really dont want to have to level up again!

Is ther something im doing wrong or is there a way to do it?

Classes will be stored locally but not online, so you'll have to remake them!

The 5 custom slots arent available though, its just like ive started from scratch but my rank is still 80?
could i copy my game data from the old ps3 to the new one via memory stick if the classes are saved on the harddrive?
Would that work
