They say 104 top speed for my 1.2 dynamique but I've done 110 in mine quiet

Probably 104 on a flat surface, can't see 75bhp getting much more than 100 without going downhill.

thinking about it ur probably right... when i did 115 it were like down the M1 and had a nice wind behind me but... dunno .

cant wait to buy a big boy car... looking at a leon cupra diesel or a 172... undecided yet though. we shall see

If I took it back to renault would they doo the mods for me ?

they wont tint windows its like 150 quid for that. rs grill about 45 quid (for the mk2 ph2) dunno bout yours... all i would do to urs is the head unit and maybe some alloys if ur feeling abit flush

M8 I did test drive a 172 Cup but it was too quick for my 1st car !! It was £2500 cheaper than my clio tomtom but on a 03 plate !!!

It went like a torpedo when I were test driving it so I decided it were too quick "fast" ....

Should be lots of local places that'll do it, most places charge about £100 for tinting.

To fit a sports grill on the Mk3 requires the front bumper to come off.

You taken a mile long spirit level out with you?

Doesn't have to be a big decline to make a difference to cars speed.

PS I'm not disputing that it may well infact do more than 104 on a flat surface... with no wind....

Ha ha that was off some random website I typed in clio tom tom on google and that came up !!!

ive actually got 110 mph out of it today on the dual carrageway but had too slow down for my exit !!

tey to stay away from speed cams pal. have 3 points already for doing 40 in a 30.. got the limits wrong my bad and it was a portable cam... but 110 is good. not a clue why the say 104 :S

I'd slow the foosh down! Get pulled at that speed and you'll end up on a retest or getting a ban, 6 points and your out when youve just past remember!

Pritty much its what i had as run about while arnold shark destroyed my car its just the basic model but great for a first car imo

Coilovers and get the car as low to the ground as possible as Mk3s are monster trucks as standard

looks like it me who gets to be the spoil sport this time round lol, rather suprised no-one has mentioned that speedos always read over and when renault test the cars they use a radar gun... so 106mph is probs about right.

at 70mph with gps my speedo reads 76mph so reading 110-115mph on the speedo for a speed of 106mph sounds fairly accurate.

i have exactly the same car, love it! Only thing i dont like about it is the standard 15" alloys, but im looking at getting some 16" oz superturismos or maybe some of the 16" mk3 clio alloys..

Mines still completly standard except a new headunit and a sub and diff speakers..
