My 200

  Mondeo TDCI 130
Looks mint that pal!!!
I have a GW 200 cup on order, white speedlines with cup spoiler and recaro's.

Going to get some coilovers and go for the cup racer look!

As for the front bumper lol.....not the best finish i have seen, but looked at 197's and they were only a couple of K cheaper than a new one for what i wanted, so seemed silly no to get a new one for me.

There are a lot of white about at the minute? whats with that? lol!

There is only one 197 i know of locally full stop, and thats blue! so i will be fine.

Enjoy!

I don't get this colour thing, colour is the last thing on my mind when I'm behind the wheel of my 197.

Then again I'm such a shortarse I cant see the bonnett anyway.

Op, your 200 is simply beautiful. I'm very jealous.

Don't get me wrong, the 200 in GW looks tip top. A very good colour for it. works well.

I too see the GW option as a bit of a fad for the clio. Plus it does seem a lot of 200'sare GW at present, so for me, I would rather something a bit different. THis is my criteria for the 200 and not everyones so I accpet people will buy GW as it does look good and they think so too!

For me, I think i will take AG (as AG is the new LY... LOL) as i think it looks superb!

I am getting used ot the front end but I am far fom thinking it looks good. I also don't like the rear exhausts that much either... prefered the old look but again the more i see it in the flesh the more I like it.

Had a good nose at AG in the showroom! I could never live with it day to day! lol, but thats just me!!!

Stop whining, this being a public forum people are going to give their opinion on whether or not they think it looks good, you're just going to have to get used to it.

  GW Clio 200
lol who's whining!!!

I have merely stated that this car seems to get a lot of stick on this forum about its looks, and those comments are made by people who also admit they have never seen the car in the flesh.

It also gets compared to the mk3 Clio's all of which I have owned and this car has only one similarity.. its name.

I took some pics of the car today for people that are interested in the 200, started a thread to give the car a bit of a break, and having posted the pictures, the first comment was just pure trolling.

Most public forums like these turn into popularity contests, its cool to rag on something or someone to gain some forum credibility..

I posted the "pathetic" comment not in anger, or because I wanted to enforce my opinion., but because after all the other comments about "US" being typical 200 owners with a chip on our shoulders... the first comment was to **** of the colour.. who's got the chip lol!!! ;)

Anyway.... yeah driving a 80bhp car and getting in to the 200 was going to feel different, but it felt exhilarating.. I absolutely loved the drive home and thought I would share it with you... It was not mean't to come across negatively or in an attempt to have a pop at others. So maybe you need to calm down!!!

All the best!!

  PS 200
these have grown on me loads, now all i need is 15k:dapprove:
£13k should get you one :D.

As for colour - who gives a $hite what colour it is (and indeed what the front looks like)

You can't see the front when you're driving - and if you wanted to buy a car for it's looks - who on earth would buy any clio FFS.

Quite amusing how some on this forum seem to think Renault have "ruined a masterpiece"

I think it looks awsome. Always liked the 200, for £13K they're a good buy too, options knock the price up a fair bit though but they're essential.

So you'd be buying one of these if it drove like a 'rari?

Cracking looking motor mate. Seriously thinking of getting rid of my Trophy for a Clio200.
Used to have a 197 and still miss it. We also have a Meggy 225 so a nice choice of cars at the moment, but I want something a little more solid than the Trophy now.
