Times like this I regret the days when I didn't buy one when they were only worth a few hundred.....

Very nice looking motor.

I've always lived in Surrey lol! It's just borderline Kent too.

Yeah man it's gone. That's the house deposit lol

Thats news to me, I thought you lived in Hayes for some reason lol. Are you getting a daily driver?

My daily is the train :rasp:

I'm on the look out for another car though, thinking BMW Z4. Borrowed my mates convertible TTS at the weekend to pick up some car goodies and loved it. Really fancy a convertible.

I don't wish to sound rude, take this as constructive criticism, but £3000 for an H reg 205, that's a LOT of money.

Surely asking someone to part with all that cash, you should be inclined to do a better advert?? The pictures are tiny, there is no mention of recent work/cambelt history, modifications, keys, yada yada yada.

Seems an eye-watering amount of money for a 205 GTI IMO, i understand there is a want for examples like this but there are other classics around of the same era for less money in similar condition.

As an owner of a 205 GTi in the same colour, reg etc... I think the price is a little steep. I wouldn't expect to get more than £2500 for mine and it's done a fair few less miles.

I think I agree with Colshe - yours looks a stunning example mate, and IMO it could well be worth that - at the end of the day a car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, so no quabbles on the price, but I do think a better laid out advert would probably get you more interest - If I were to be spending out so much on one of these id like to have as much useable info in the advert as possible to save me a wasted trip
