wasnt there a lad on here that did a 0-60 in 9.9 in a 1.2 n videod it so its beleive able but you dont make it easy on your self do ya lad! some one sayin you drive like a T**t and then you say oh yea you can just sling it into roundabouts in the wet n it just slides :O dont make things worse jesus! lol

i did it once so talk from experience but never again. when your not expecting it, it scare's the life out of you. If i sling it in the dry useally it will be gone evening when its not so busy and i only of roundabout i know well ie bumps and pot holes.

Nope, i'm a winner.

Quite like the car mate, mirrors are a no no but everything else works, just get it decked and get some white alloys on it, and get some pics of the engine bay too

remap and filter changed sussesfully bloody go well too. havent had chance to open it up and see properly but feels so much more responsive. ill wait till the roads are quiet and hve a blast down the mototway.
congrats of not driving stupidly will slap a pic of the engine later if i get a chance.

so yeh had a breaf timing and was 7.5 with a spin at the strt not bad but will have to do it a couple of time then find the average to get somnetime mybe a bit more acurate. anyone know where i can get it properly timed ?

Are you using a mate and a stopwatch off the traffic lights???

Or are you using proper timing gear? 7.5 for a 1.6 clio sounds a touch optimistic to me.

jack the front of the car up, doesnt matter if youve got one wheel down cos of th diff, then you can rag it to 60 or 65 to get a clear reading, and time it then add a little bit on for friction on the road. i dont belive a 7.5 for a 1.6 clio with 110bhp standard according to specs and is now probably the same if not 115bhp or so from an average RR read out. as said before a 172 does 0-60 in 7 seconds, and it weighs the same or as near as dammit to yours.

^^LOL!!! Having your car off the road is more accurate than actually driving it? You're having a tin bath. Wind resistance, load on the engine, tye resistance etc etc.

its a silver carbon cda. it was a rief timing with a phone that why i said i would try and get a better reading. the guy remapped it and said he managed to get a futher 16 bhp from it with the filter. so i know its atleast got 126. bhp. 7.5 doesnt sound right no but like i said when i get change i will try and get somthing more accurate. Anyone have any propper equipment?

I ran a prospeed cat back, Supersprint de-cat, matched inlets and a Simota IK and it wasn't massively quicker than standard! felt much more responsive and eager but no way would it do Saxo VTS times, lol.

lol if u listen i said i need a more accurate timing thats why i havent defo said what it does yet. i agree with the responsivness its much better!!!
0-60 i admit i did overestimated (a fair bit) but i still think high 7. sometime would be the accurate reading.

as for the 16 extra bhp, thats from the remap and cold air feed filter not just the filter!!
