well after going to see two 172s yesterday, and they were both duffers.

i called into Renault Dealers on the way back, to have a quick snoop round the new megane sport. And they found me a 51 plate 172 in flame red and its only done 21k. Paying 7350 all together[]

Very happy with the service i got too going to put a deposit on it today!

Checked at 24k IIRC.

Its the timing belt at 72k/5yrs that is a b**ch.

Anywere from £350-£500 IIRC.

Mines was £500 but that included 24k service all in.

Mines is a 2000 X by the way.

have to save some money then, but the smile on my face every time i drive it will be worth it.

have just been and put £500 down, pick it up on 1st september[]
