My clutch dissapeared??????

Right earlier i changed from 3rd into 4th, well i was going to but as i pressed the clutch pedal, it went straight to the floor as if the cable had snapped, so i pulled over as you to have a little look! pooped the bonnet, clutch cable fine?

i was confused, got back in my car, pressed the clutch and it was ok again? only biting point basicly on the floor?

Then whilst driving it again, the clutch pedal moved then the biting point was way up high?

Any ideas? cheers

Sounds like a fault in the clutch mate. Drive it till it s***s itself! haha

Check the teeth on the adjuster I'd bet there broken.

Or else the clutch springs are going.

Or the clutch cbale if its not Renault get a Renault one fitted and regardless make sure it routed correctly.

well i know my clutch is on its last legs and my thrust bearing is rather tappy but would this cause that?

if the adjuster was broken though surely it would go and stay gone not come back again?

Yeh mate, its probably a fault in the clutch itself.

Could have slipped a few teeth and then got them next time round.

i'd go with clutch or the pedal mech.
