My effort at refurbing my old alloys

Been having a go at refurbing my old alloys the past week or so and have finally fiished them now.
I think they came out alright actually...

its not that hard mate just time consuming, there is a guide in the how to section.


looks like youve done a good job buddy, how many coats of paint/laquer did you do, just the final pic they look a little flat like they need more laquer but it could just be the pic

Ace, i wanna do mine sometime soon, where did you get the silver paint from ? and is it a reasonably close match to the origional ?

Err, right...

The car is dropped on FK Highsports from Russ@GasPerformance.
Dropped around 80-90mm i think.

Umm, I used Audi Silver Metallic of all colours on the wheels! From Halfords, rattles cans.
It is a fairly close match, i was never expecting it to be perfect but it does look pretty good.
Haz, why should i have not sprayed in the bolt holes? (i didnt exactly mean to).
Gave it about 3 or 4 coats of laqceur.
Took me about 5 days in total to complete. Sanding down the things takes ages!!

Yea im keeping the UltraLeggys on there for now, just thought id give it a go. Will look better when i come to sell it as well.
Anymore questions.... just ask.

Look slike uv done a good job der pal. Hopin to do mine soon an lookin at the job uv done gives me more confidence in being able to do it meself. And the reason u shouldnt have sprayed in ur bolt holes is.. well ull find out next time u try and get the wheel out and theyv seized up lol.
