My French Car Show 2006 Pics

Just got home, was a quality day out. Weather held out which was good, turned quite nice towards the end too. Loads of nice motors both on show and on the track. That Yozzasport 172 was silly quick on the track, well impressed. Also saw my old 106 GTi (see below, Cherry Red one, now running black VTS rims etc) go up the strip too, got a 0-60 of 6.8secs which was better than a lot of the 182's...kinda gutting hehe! That black Clio, stripped out, running TT power (?) was damn rapid, run a near identical 1/4 mile to a Mitsu Evo! Got myself a 172 now and moved away from UKFN apart from the occasional post

About 4 / 5 months now I think. Got myself a flame red 172, Love it. Much better then a fiesta / Golf.

Sort of skinted me though, Worth it imo!

So FCS was good then I take it? Was gonna go but as mentioned in another thread tore a muscle in the gym so can't steer my car lol!

Lovely motor that. Was saying to my mates, if only they done the 182 in Flame Red, gorgeous colour.

Yeh the Red 106 ran a really good stip time today, the owner is my best mate shaun, thats who i come to the show with the 182 needs a new exhaust so left it at home waiting for the Orbisound.

He's done a real nice job of your car josh, u'll have to excuse the pics as it wasnt clean but weather was terrible yesterday and didnt get chance to clean it.

He is thinking of going big with the mods, cams and either turbo'd or throttle bodies next on the list

Nice one, was kinda strange seeing my old motor, all good though. Couldn't believe how rapid she was up the strip, noticed he took out the rear seats too. And yea, very imprsessive times for a 1.6, sure most will agree.
