My go at HDR

This is one of my first attempts at Hdr in the dark.
I used photomatix and entered +2 and -2 above and below my base exposure.
The garage sign was so bright yet under the car was almose pitch black.
Quite happy with the final result, in the fact is does not look too false.

should of taken it in landscape really.
Will be meeting up with a few guys sunday night for a photoshoot so if you hang out till then I will promise to deliver some more suitable shots.

Sure you are not confusing noise for dirt and water on the car????
The image at this end hardly has any noise.
Camera was set too 400%dynamic range.
iso 200...the photomatix has seemed to introduce some noise.
I have down res the image to get it on here too....origional file is 64mb!!!
So that maybe making it look noisy.
Also remember it is a composite of 5 images

Very good, as you've said already landscape would be nice for this, I'd like to see a little more of the car personally...
