My internet speed keeps changeing! WHY??

It goes from 1mbps to 42mbps! Why, its so anoying when im streaming videos!!! Please Help!! James

I'm guessing you're seeing your wireless connection going up and down.

Yes that i am! Why does it do this??So annoyin when im watchin lost!!

cos wifi is s**t basically and your signal strength is going up and down

I found my WIFI was a problem (low signal/dropping out) and when I checked the box the aerial was not screwed in properly.

Tightened it up and it has been stable ever since.

Worth a check.

Wi-FI is not a technology which will give you 100% stable connections and consistent speeds at home. The strength and quality of the signal varies on several things:

• Distance from the router.
• How many walls are between you and the router.
• Quality of the router and the wireless chipset in it.
• Quality of the wireless card inside the PC.

I tried wireless a couple of years back and gave up on it for gaming and downloading... now my house is wired and i've never looked back!
