Well im only talking from going from 15s to 16s(mk2 172 rims) the same as yourself and it didnt make the car alot slower just a little, but my car has less power than yours as its the 1.2 16v with a heart stopping 75bhp of french stallions! lol

17s only slow u a ickle bit....

depends really if you buy nice heavy chrome F**kers or some nice light OZ SLs or team dynamics 1.2 pro race.... light ass

get 16s with 40 profile tyres and im pretty sure the rolling radius will eb teh same

I can vouch for the heavy chrome fcukers.. had them for a few months and couldnt hack the slowness.. sold them last week.. bring on the 16 inche anthracite..lol

17,s dont really slow your car that much, only the slightest, i reckon 17s too,
