My manifold

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

I cant afford a new manifold on top of everything else iv just forked out for so what can I do to mine to make it look that bit nicer? Rub down and paint? What sort of paint is needed, heat resistant for a guess?

Anyone done anything else at all??

Cheers

well thats that idea up the swanny !! What about a cardboard tube !! you know the ones that have those plastic caps at each end.

THE HEAT WRAP YOU CAN GET FROM MOST TUNING PLACES !! Demon tweeks and such like !! Dual purpose then looks tidy and keeps the heat out the engine bay !!

we talkin inlet or exhaust manifold? you cant really see the exhaust one....so why make it look nice.

saying that though, wrapping it will help reduce under bonnet heat substantially when done right (not that hard to).

The inlet is ok but the exhaust manifold just looks a bit rusty.

Think ill get some heat wrap.

Ill see if the post office has a tube, good thinking mate!

u cant wrap cast exhaust manifolds, as they tend to melt after about 20mins of hard drive!!!! u cna only wrap stainless manifolds
