my mini vtec @ york raceway

thought id take my mini for a 1/4 mile run despite it not being built for that as i thought it would be a bit of fun.
day was wet to start with then started to dry, traction was a nightmare and on the first run was crossing the line in 5th spinning the wheels at a poultry 75mph lol.specky did a few runs in the car aswell so i did get to see it being driven hard from the outside aswell
it dried up a bit and i managed to get a 13.7@ 102mph with a slipping clutch so not bad for a 30 year old shed
some nice gentelmen put a compilation of my runs together for me.
also a big thanks to paul@ rs tuning for mapping the car for me in his own time at the last minute to make it possible for me to run at all

I'm happy with the time,
It made 171 bhp and 130 ft lbs torque when it was mapped for the new cams

thanks for the nice words, it sounds good from the front but the exhaust note for me sounds pants with it being a combination of a mini and vtec together
new clutch has been ordered so hopefully will be fitted and ready to beat my time next month
