well now i have kind of worked out how to upload pics I will show you my new baby, I haven't had her long, I bought her at an auction and full service history and 5 renault stamps, but her previous owner neglected her badly so she's had a much needed valet inside and out, changed the rear lights for clears, Just wondered what you think what else in your opinions i should do to her next? plus what you think? thanks, strawberry..

Near Chelmsford, been quite a few more members in Essex recently.

Not usually a fan of Lexus lights but I think they look quite nice on yours, seen to blend in better as it's silver.

I'd probably get a splitter on next if I were you.

Black/anthracite wheels would look good

have a look at the ones car in the for sale section....that's a silver 172 with black OE wheels on and it looks pretty neat.

Nice, although the ariel looks a bit long (Never knew they were that long, will have to check mine) Talking of lexus lights, i saw a silver RS clio with the black ones (not the ones on k-tec, it was a diff style) an they looked really good.

I used to have one exactly like that (minus the lights). I've always liked the Mk2 172 in Iceberg - best colour for that car IMO. Leave the wheels the colour they are, they suit it far better than darker ones would (again IMO).

Thanks for all the opinions, sorry mate can't cut the springs i would have to buy lowering springs my young son travels in the car with me sounds a bit dangerous does that anyway, i will lower her about 35 to 40 mm and i think i will keep the 16's on and leave them silver, just need refurbishing really badly, love the idea of window tinting though, and thought about getting a 182 exhaust system for it? as for the ariel i haven't got a clue how long they are supposed to be, looking at those bee stings on ebay they seem shorter, ariel was already on the car? Also with one of those resistors would I have to change my fuel?? what's the best fuel for a 172 anyway?
