My new car...

Well not strictly a new car, but it feels like one!

Today i went about fitting my new Eibach Sportline springs and new OEM shocks. I previously had Apex springs on worn out shocks. Wow! i had honestly forgotten how well my car handles, its really changed the characteristic of the car completely. I no longer have to avoid pot holes, can safely chuck it into corners without bouncing around and the ride is soooo much smoother at high speeds!

Whats more, i fitted it all myself which was a big challenge, as i have never tried anything like this before, and i currently have a broken finger. Found it quite easy, once i had freed up the bolts holding the shock to the hub.

Also fixed my wing mirror which got smashed off early in the week, so overall ive regained my love for my car again! now, i think im going to hold off selling it for a white yet, time to enjoy it some more! :approve:

could you get some pics of it bud before and after ? pos even some std pics too so i can compare as i am not sure i want to go for apex after having them on my old 1.2

yeah sure, however the springs are only 4 miles old at the moment...

ive got pics of her on eibach pro's, apex, and now eibach sportlines.

its dark at the mo, so will take some pics tomorrow :)

Driveshafts didn't pop out hehe

edit- with a broken finger, good effort

heh, no Tom... i used the s**tty renault jack to support the hub so it didnt pop out  Thanks for your help mate!

i was suprised how well it went to be honest... Took me 2 and a half hours to do all 4 corners, and that was laying on the floor in the freezing cold outside my house :dead:
