Skoda Fabia VRS
So I recently sold the itb's for my VTS, and decided to purchase a new lens. The Tamron 70-300F4-5.6.
First impressions, well there isn't really any due to getting home from work, and getting about 10 minutes each evening to test it out properly. But I've managed to check out the 70-300 range, and it is orgasmic coming from a 50mm prime lens. The range will most definitely come in handy on random trips with the girlfriend, and I'll be testing out the lens at Castle Combe this friday, at a track day.
As some of you may know, the Tamron comes with the 'Vibration Control' feature...it is fantastic. The shots posted below were taking at 1/50, two of which at 300mm. With VC turned off, it's virtually impossible, but with VC turned on, well the pictures suffer from no movement what so ever.
Here are 4 comparison shots, showing the difference between 70mm and 300mm. Apologies for the noisy images, they were all shot at 1/50, F16 with an ISO of 6400.
