... and it's a bit bigger than an Astra!
I've finally got around to taking some snaps of my Vectra, after having it for 2 weeks. At the moment, it's a standard '07 plate 280 VXR, with 19's, CD70 Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Climate & (aftermarket) parking sensors...
I'm enjoying it so far, I've only done 500 miles so far, but that it likely to be corrected soon, as I'm possibly taking it to Le Mans with me (I was planning on taking the MX5, but it's got issues with it's new clutch!). It is definitely a quick motor - the power of that big turbo V6 being delivered in such a refined way though, that it's easy to get caught out going far too quick! It also handles pretty reasonably - I went out for a blast with my brother in his stage 2 astra VXR (about 290BHP, with rear anti-roll bar) and on normal roads, there was very little in it - the astra's a tiny bit quicker at low end - but higher speeds, the vec will disappear... Will be interesting to see how that changes when the vec gets a remap too - 310BHP and 450lbft should be pretty useful!
Anyway - enjoy the pictures, and I'll look forward to your comments, since the reaction was very mixed when I said I was buying it...
And finally with the clio and mazda
