Got myself a new Mongoose exhaust system and a Powerchip on my MK1 valver...

Tyres are Avon ZZR track tyres, so yeah... bit dodgy in the wet, but pretty sticky in the dry!

Not had the car on the rollers yet, just want to give it a service, sort out a few problems etc first. So no official power figures. The car feels more responsive, flat spots have been smoothed out and rev limiter has been raised a little.

scarily enough I've got exactly that chip and exhaust on my car too.

I found the mongoose was a really poor fit, hangs down quite low and bangs on the rear beam.

Not too sure about the powerchip as I've yet to drive a valver without one.

Yeah, its a common problem with the knocking on the rear beam. Poly zorst mounts will sort ya problems out.
