My Ph2 172 in Iceberg!

Hi Guys,

Posted in the welcome section but I was on my iPhone so I couldn't attach pictures properly! So I thought I'd post a few! Not really had chance to take my own so they're from the advert off of autotrader!

Cars done 71k, Cambelt and Aux belt done at about 50k. Pretty good nick, but a few issues that I'm trying to resolve! Pretty much standard with a rather cheap looking induction kit, and a stupidly large exhaust, although it's nice and quiet round town and doesn't sound like a 15 yeah old Nova with a £40 backbox stuck on it from Halfords!

PLEASE get some clear side repeaters put on. The orange don't suit Icebergs at all.

Yeah I agree with the crap camera! When the weather picks up and I can give it a clean I'll upload some new ones! I bought some clear repeaters off ebay last night! Should hopefully be on at the weekend!

Kinda nervous you didn't buy it!! lol TBH for the other 172's I'd seen for this price I was pretty impressed. Theres a few bits I need to do! Half of the others were sheds!

Seen this car in the metal too, is very tidy and the paint nice and bright.

Thank god for that!! LOL I must admit when I saw the exhaust I did laugh at it! It's not really my thing either but it's quiet enough when I want it to be, and it sounds pretty nice on the A roads as well!

Thanks mate. Nothing major... ordered some clear side repeaters. To be honest with the job I do I need to keep it pretty standard, despite the already mentioned stupidly large exhaust on it!! lol

I'm meant to be getting a company car at my new job in 12 months so it may sadly be a stop gap... although I probably won't want to sell it! lol If i end up keeping it as a weekend car then I may look at uprating the suspension and brakes, get a decent closed air induction kit and things like that. Just simple stuff!!

Probably gonna have to get new springs anyway so is probably going to be done! Don't want it to low though
