My runaround doesnt want to run- around, lol

Brought a mk1 1.2 with the energy angine for cheap of here and it just doesnt run right. From cold it's ok but once it gets warm misses like feck if you try and go anywhere to the point of throwing you forward. If I let it idle for a bit it is a bit uneven and jumps around then idles higher but nothing major however if i just lightly tap the accelerator it tries to die. I thought it was the idle control valve but its definatley working as its pushing the canle lobe to adjust the idle.....

Any ideas? It has a K+n but I doubt thats it, maybe a dodgy plug or lead? I'd of thought it was sticking choke but thought the ISCV was its form of choke?

it dosn't have a choke as such, it has a cold running map in the ecu thats regulated by the coolant temp sensor, could be that.
coilpacks sometimes break down only when hot
mechanically an airleak sometimes will only show up when the engines hot due to expanding metal

I'm going to tap the dizzy off and clean in there but if it was that it would do it all the time. Thing is it doesnt miss all the time, sometimes its fine but it will always do it at least once in a mile or so. f**king me right off!

Ph1 or Ph2? The early ones were carbed which I assume this one isn't?

It's an N plate and is single point injection.....
