my sub dont work!

my mate installed my sub about a month ago and left the wires strewn across the boot coz it woz dark, now i decided to clip the wires and tidy it all up in my boot. this meant that i had to disconnect the whole lot and wire it up. Now ive plugged it back in it doesnt work. the amp just flashes protect!! wot have i done wrong. evrythings wired how it woz before

1st check all your inline fuses and fuses on amp.

if they ok, remove sub from amp....and power it up.. see if protect is still on.

if it is still on it could be that a strand of wire is loose and touching another connection.. if its not ... well... could a a loty of other things.
