Seen a lot of quads lately around me, and yet to see 1 with a helmet, stupid when most have similar power if not more than some bikes!

They also seem to think shorts and t-shirts protect them from tarmac lol.

Nice...do quadbikes have to go through an MOT or anything before they can be used on the road? Reason for asking is because on the way home from work someone blew past me on one no helmet, plates or tax from what I saw I therefore assume he was doing so illegally?

Mine's agricultural registered, use it on my mate's farm next door, but has plates / tax insurance etc. but tax is free.

Cant wait to get a quad on the road, ive had one for years offroad!, Way more fun than a bike IMO, i want a raptor but all ive got is a honda trx250 and a honda ex250 ;(

yeah classed same a a car so need all insurance mot tax etc but no need for helmet,

lifts up in 1st 2nd, no probs 3rd if you pull back! have most cars off the line! my mates currently in the middle of doing a bike engine conversion on his atm! thats going to be a hand full!
