my track day at donny!

was a good day! started wet (very) and the track was stopped every session due to people coming off.

but after linch it was almost dry... had sooo much fun, took quite a few cars too...(the radical and palma audi got past LOL)

but it it was a bit to damp to get the grip! car was AWSOME though, LEDA's are awsome!

car was very quick, not only in a stright line but through the bends,

the brakes were awsome, was able to out brake people by 5-10 meters!

kept it for 3/4 of a lap but then it got past!

it had the edge in the strights (gearbox), and they go round the beds better too! i had my LEDAs on too soft in the dry which lost me time, he had slicks on in the dry too

I'm guessing thats your frist track day out in the car anyway, plenty of time to fine tune things.

edit: things will be different with SC engine i'm sure.

the SC engine looks awsome, did ben tell you the spec...were now having the inlet custom made and cut from a piece of billet alloy!

yer first track day in a sport, well it was the second day i had ever driven the car LOL

soon mate, let me know and we will sort transport for you, the SC engine is going in after the ring (get back on the 28th)

so anytime after then, i will be takign mine down on a trailor, so can bring yours back on it

lol dont be daft, the sound of it cranking over is enough to drive me insane now!

lad from work couldnt make it to do some testing, so gonna wait til next weekend now

trouble is i can't get enthusiastic about it now, but im sure when i hear it running (IF i ever hear it running!) i will get my ass into gear again

Was a good day, really enjoyable, especially the wet which was an experience!!

The car was awesome. I managed to keeep it on the black stuff.. unlike some hey Sambo
