My williams has been ruined by chipsaway

yesterday the chipsaway guy came to sort my sonechips on my williams, there was one above the williams badge at the back 2 on the door and there was quite alot on the bonnet including a slight dent where it rolled into the back of my mums jeep.



he has melted my williams badge at the back,there is a big blob of purple on the bonnet where he tried to fix the dent,the dent is a hundred times worse,the whole bonnet is a complete mess,i am so gutted, does anyone know what can do about this, i do not want him near it again, it is goin to have to go into a proper coachworks and get fixed professionally and i am defo not paying for it,if he is not willing to pay then this is going to have to go through lawyers etc, any advice as to what is best to do would be appreciated, thanks

Those guys somrtimes are badly trained !! Some are good some are bad !!

Anyone can set em selfs up as a chips away. You just by a van and then by the frachised stuff from chips away and get some training !! Then you sign write your van, and hey presto your a chips away technition !!

First port of call is to find the chips away head office and get this tw*t reported. THEN GET AN ESTIMATE from a coach works place to repair all the sh*te work he has done !! Then also claim for the Willy sticker !! Which is £30 from Renault !!

You should also tell him that he is responsible for the sh*te work and see what he says to it !!

My bro-in-law had his car fixed by them.. the job was perfect.. couldnt tell the difference from factory.

I would either ask them to send out a different "technician" to fix the problems.. or take it to a bodyshop and invioce them with the bill

if you do go to get it fixed at a coachworks.. take pics of the damage before you do incase you have to go to court.

my step dad owns a chips away.

he does an exceptional job, but he practiced and did free jobs for four months b4 he started

they use an infra red light to bake the paint and he has put it WAY to close if it has melted the badge, he obviously has no idea wat he is doin. what did he charge u? 120 or sumfin

ive got head offices number if u want it, cos they need to know if there is someone letitng the side down

the guy who did it is totally ignoring his phone pr!ck! anyways we got in contact with the head office and a chipsaway guy in glasgow, he has a workshop, not mobile, and supposedly this guy has had so many complaints so im takin it up to this guy in glasgow and he is going to take pics of all the damage and send it to head office and they are goin to try and get shot of him completely, supposedly he has ruined alot of cars, anyway the guy i was speaking to sounded genuine and said he would take it in and get everything sorted back to factory finish, with no charge to me, so ill keep you posted, i cant bear to even look at it

hi mate how you doin, the guy who ruined mine is called David Doughty 0141 616 3352 defo make sure its not him, cos what happened was, i phoned the head office and they gave me the number of the guy in glasgow, but they must have passed on my details to this david cos he phoned me and arranged to come out, the guy in glasgow is 0141 4203776, he sounds genuine enough mate,ill let you know how i got on with him, good luck
