My World Series pics Day 1 and 2

I will start with day 1 and a car many of you will know! (taken with a long range lens on)

We then continued to look around the alpine stand, i really wished i had paid to park there!

Once we were done there we moved across to the paddock area, its amazing how close you can get to the cars and at some point people were close to tredding on front wings etc!!

We then saw a queue so we decided to join it, we were unsure what it was for but we managed to be a bit cheeky and get near the front by being in the right place at the right time! in the end we discovered it was for the pit walk which was pretty cool.

After doing this we decided it was time to watch some races, we started off at copse but soon wondered around to becketts where we stayed for much of the day

Day 2

I joined the West mids convoy with Donny, Addicted, Nickw88 and Matt350. We had a nice run and was fun being part of a convoy, everyone travelled safely despite Nicks attempt to provoke an overtaking war i think! We went a slightly different way to the route i took the day before and to be honest i preferred the route i took on the saturday.

Once we got close the traffic built up alot and a Renaultsport spider got in the middle of our convoy (one with small plate), he got out of the way as we headed for the car park!

I didnt get any pictures of the convoy sadly but it was nice to travel up with a group of sensible drivers.

So once we got there we all walked in together, we all then went our own way.

The first action i saw was on the back of the recovery truck

We then headed off to watch the Jean Ragnotti show which was very good with some superb driving skills, We managed to bump into addicted again on the pit straight where we were watching.

We then took a slow walk to becketts again to watch the races, I took so many photos and have tried to only show a few but it is so difficult to decide which ones but i have done my best and i will try not to bore you

Some good photos there, makes me want to get a proper camera again, they're so much better than any of my iPhone photos

Shame there's none of the convoy though, was a good drive up. As for the overtaking war, I don't know what you're on about I was simply trying to get back in line with the convoy, typically as I overtook the guy in the middle lane you lot started slowing down leaving me at the front lol. Poor Don was left on his own at the back haha!

I wish i had gotten some convoy pictures, i tried to get my brother to do it but he said he didnt trust my driving enough to stick his head out of the window at 70mph to get a photo. he did say that your car was really nice and keeps going on about it and how good it looked.
