It could be something from Lotus. Its not the Esprit tho.

All Esprit testing is being done on old Esprit test mules very locally in and around Hethel.
The current test mule is a lightly disguised Esprit V8.

As for the Eagle, well...it could well be. Bit far from Hethel tho.

Yeah, but it's like celebrities who court the press. The manufacturers know full well that snappers will get spy shots of their new cars, and they don't mind because it raises the level of hype surrounding the car. It's free publicity yet the heavy taping-up keeps an air of suspense and mystery - why wouldn't they want their new models seen?
