Good and bads news to report on my situation with the Toyos that were (admittedly) too cheap to be true!
Good: 185/55/15s have actually turned up. Woo hoo! So they were about half price in the end I think.
Bad: 185/55/15s are for the exs car, not mine... Anyway, the 205/40/17s are still going to be out of stock for 8-9 weeks according to the 3rd phone call Ive had. (First two from some German bloke, the last one from what sounded like a geeza in a garage oop north, fag in hand, kicking about the workshop
). Germans word was that the order would be cancelled if they havent get them in 4-5 weeks. Bloke today said that Id definitely get them if I left them on order rather than cancelling and re-ordering later. So who am I supposed to believe? *Fingers crossed they turn up*
It is so blatantly a pricing c**k-up that theyre trying to wiggle out of!
