N00b in "Saying Hello" shocker

  Accord Type R
Hello

Before I go in to any detail, which I will do anyway shortly, I was hoping someone could answer me a quick question.

Is a 172 going to be liveable with a Mrs and two young kids (4.5 yrs and 6 weeks old)? All I'm concerned about is fitting the 3 of them in really. Never had a Clio before and not sure on what they're like inside, space-wise. No massive long journeys planned or anything just general commuting and of course a bit of fun when I'm in it on my own.

I currently drive an Accord and although it's big enough I actually fancy something smaller.

Any help would be most welcome and then once I have the first half of the first day back at work out of the way I'll bore you all with more details about moi :S

Thanks in advance ;)

Welcome.

Yeah, it'll be fine. Rear seat access is really good (so I've heard. Ahem) and it has ISOFIX points. Should make a decent little family cart.

Great thanks guys.

Ok a little more about me. I'm in Manchester and I run MCR-VTEC.co.uk. Started the club when I had my Integra Type R (DC2) and have currently been driving around in an Accord Type R for the last 18 months or so. Love VTEC but to be honest I have been tempted away from Honda a few times, the Clio is one of those temptations. I think just having a smaller car may be the reason and of course with my past cars I would have to have something that was a little fun now and then. The Accord is for sale at the moment if anyone here is interested

I have no idea what model of Clio I should be looking at, I belive the 172 has been reccomended? Is there a buyers guide on the forum anywhere?

Anyway, thanks for your time chaps and any further assistance you might ba able to give. Cheers
